Abodewithme.com is a web community designed specifically to help people who are looking to relocate or move accommodation and are looking for new housemates to share with.
One of the things that we noticed when setting this site up is that there are lots of sites on the internet which advertise rooms or property to let, but very little on offer when looking for new housemates or flatmates. Our aim is to provide a safe and secure e-community for meeting new people who share your lifestyle and interests and who would potentially make great new housemates.
Given the rise in property prices over the last 5 or 6 years, it is becoming increasingly difficult for young people to get on the housing market. In fact, it is increasingly common for people to in shared accommodation well into their thirties. With this in mind, finding people to share accommodation with is more important than ever.
There is also a growing trend, driven both by desire and necessity for people to move around the country and indeed the world to allow them to take up employment opportunities. This often means moving into new areas literally knowing nobody at all. The aim of Abodewithme.com is to make this a safer and less daunting process by providing an environment where it is safe to meet and get to know new people in the safety of your own home before making that giant leap into the unknown.
